International Council on Active Aging and Restaura partner to launch senior living dining benchmarking system

The new system will offer a self-assessment tool for operators to review their dining programs, along with in-person evaluations for those seeking formal recognition through the ICAA Plate of Distinction designation.

The International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) has teamed up with senior living foodservice company Restaura to develop a new tool aimed at improving dining in senior communities. The benchmarking system is designed to help operators evaluate their current dining programs and identify opportunities to enhance the overall experience for residents.

“Our goal is to make sure that when someone moves into a community, their dining expectations are not only met but exceeded—and that communities striving for excellence are recognized, while those falling short are encouraged to improve,” says ICAA CEO Colin Milner.
